FLATTOP RECONQUISTA

Knights of the Order of St. Michael of the Rosary successfully bore the cross to the summit of Flattop Mountain on the Vigil of the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.  After erecting the cross at the top, the crusaders then heard the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass celebrated by Fr. Matt McMorrow and received the Body and Blood of Christ before descending in the twilight.

Itinerary:

INVOCATION (Songs 6:10, Psalm 144:1-2, Ephesians 6:11-12, 14-17, Matthew 10:34)
ASCENT (in silencio)
ERECTED CROSS
CRUSADER MASS (Introit - Jesu Dulcis Memoria, Offertorium - Veni Creator Spiritus, Communio - Pange Lingua, Concluding Hymn - Salve Regina, Common Tone)
LITANY OF THE CROSS

AVE MARIA

Congratulations to all crusaders -- we had our largest turnout yet, with 9 Knights Attendant.  For those who didn't make it, please consider fasting on bread and water someday this coming week for the conversion of sinners.

Quis ut Deus!

P.S., here's a sweet Knights Templar version of the solemn tone Salve Regina.
